Get ready iPad owners for tons of puzzling fun in Gua-Le-Ni, or: The Horrendous Parade. This new iPad puzzle game comes from Stefano Gualeni and Double Jump. You'll be able to get your hands on it very soon with it's release date for November 28, 2011 (NOW AVAILABLE! CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD IT). The main objective in this game is to categorize beasts who are combinations of different types of animals. It's actually a very intriguing game. The beast walks across the screen, one at a time. The only way to successfully categorize the beast is to use the cubes at the bottom of the screen before the beast walks to the other side of the screen out of view. Let's say your beast is a mixture of a rhino and a condor (the rhino body part is first and the condor body part is second). This means that you'll have to arrange the cubes to read rhi-dor. You can spin the cube around with one finger. If you have the cubes in the wrong order or if it's upside down, then you can use two fingers to lift or rotate the cube. You can also add more cubes (which means more of the beast) for an even greater challenge. As you progress, food becomes a factor. If a beast is hungry then it'll move faster. This is where you have to feed it a certain item for it to slow down. This is a really interesting game. It'll certainly have your brain thinking (which is always a good thing). My overall rating for this game is 4.5 out of 5 stars. The interface in this game is very well-done, the visuals are nice, and rotating/spinning the cubes is extremely responsive. My only thing is that starting up the game is a little slow, since the game sort of acts like a book. Remember that this is an iPad only app and it'll be available November 28th. Wouldn't it be amazing to have a ruler in your pocket all the time? Well now you can! With the Acoustic Ruler Pro [0.99] from Florian Student you can measure anything, anywhere! To measure with this app you need an iOS device with a built in mic. Then you need headphones with a mic or without a mic (it doesn't really matter there). This app is sort of hard to explain in writing. The best way to understand how this app works is to watch the 2 videos that the developer made about the 2 measuring modes. Cowboy Guns- 0.99 (Chillingo) "Who doesn't love the Wild Wild West?"

Get ready to go back into the wild wild west in Chillingo's latest adventure game Cowboy Guns [$0.99]. In Cowboy Guns you play as a lonely cowboy who has to fight his way through towns, deserts, and canyons with bandits in the way. Your main goal is to defeat The Crimson Jackals to bring peace to the land. There's 3 exciting modes to play through: Adventure mode, Bounty Hunter mode, and Survival mode. In Adventure mode you play through a story line facing enemies. In the Bounty Hunter mode you get rewards for defeating the 20 wanted criminals. In Survival mode you erm... basically survive. There'll be a bunch of enemies coming all over and your goal is to stay alive as long as possible. There's two controls in the game. The left analog stick allows you to move around and the right analog stick allows you to shoot your current weapon. Between the two analog sticks, your current weapons can be found there. You can only hold up to 3 weapons at once. On the top left side of the screen you have your health meter which indicates the amount of health you still have left. On the top right side of the screen there's a little icon that looks like a bag. Once you click on that you can find your map and travel to different lands. You can also read about your current mission

that you have going on and upgrade your cowboy. The following upgrades that you can currently purchase are handguns, shotguns, heavy guns, explosives, armors, boots, and new costumes. Items can be purchased by using money that you've earned from missions or from the stars that you can collect that are hidden around each area. I'm really digging the game's graphics and the western style music. The adventure mode is extremely fun and has a great story line. Overall, Cowboy Guns provided a fun cowboy experience and is

perfect for people who are into dual-stick games. I've found no issues with the game at all, except it crashed about twice. My final rating is 4.5 out of 5 stars. HECTOR: Ep2 – Senseless Acts of Justice - 4.99 (Telltale Inc)

The long awaited sequel to HECTOR: Badge of Carnage Ep1 [$3.99] is finally upon us! HECTOR: Ep2 – Senseless Acts of Justice [$4.99] is the second episode of the humorous trilogy. I've actually never gotten the chance to play the first episode, shocker right! Since I haven't played the first episode I can't really compare them to which one's the best. If you're new to the series like me then you ought to know who the main characters are. The game follows Detective Hector and his assistant Lambert throughout the series. The Hector: Badge of Carnage series is a point-and-click adventure game where you have to interact with people and objects to complete your tasks. There's a lot of silly crude humor, so this game isn't for the young. It's also not for people who don't have a sense of humor. So, if you were born without that then you should probably stay far away from this game. I mean it. Even though this is a funny game it'll require you

to use your brain every now and then to complete the task on hand. The controls are very simple. Just tap anywhere to move around. To interact with objects and people just tap once to do so. If you need to use an item then just double tap to use it. You can gather objects and store them into your inventory. Sometimes you'll have to combine objects that you're carrying to get the job done. Throughout the game you can switch back and forth between Hector and Lambert to perform the various duties. If you're ever stuck, then you can use the hint menu, but I'm afraid to use it... it makes me feel dumb, because of how easy some of the tasks are. There's not much more I can say about the game without spoiling the story. After playing HECTOR: Ep2 – Senseless Acts of Justice, I've found myself to truly love the series. I definitely need to go pick up the first game ASAP! If you're new to the Badge of Carnage series like me then I suggest you go play the first one 

before you play this one. You don't really have to though. You'll be fine by just hopping into episode 2, but if you would like to know the main plot then you should just start of at #1. Also, if you've played the first one before then there's no way in the world that you can't pick up this one. Come on for Pete's sake! It's Hector!!!! Overall, the dialogue in this game is fantastic and it's hilarious. The graphics are nicely done and everything seems to flow very well. HECTOR: Ep2 – Senseless Acts of Justice is definitely worth $5... probably more! My final rating is 5 out of 5 stars. If your looking for a great puzzle adventure game and a nice long game then HECTOR: Ep2 – Senseless Acts of Justice for [$4.99] is definitely worth your time and hard earned money. Have an iPad? To-Fu 2- 0.99 (HotGen Ltd.) "To-Fu is back and badder than ever!"

                           There's no way that I can start the review until I say something about that icon. Now that icon is EPIC! Alright I'm glad I was able to get that out of my system. Now what is To-Fu 2? To-Fu 2 [0.99] by HotGen Ltd. is the sequel to their wildly popular first game called To-Fu: The Trials of Chi which you can actually pick up for free right now in celebration of the release of the sequel! So, just in case you've never heard of this game (if that's even possible) you can go pick up the first one for free on your iPhone/iPod Touch and or iPad. If you're not familiar with how the game works then I'll give you a little recap.  In the game you control To-Fu who can stretch. You have to ping, stretch, rebound, and stick him throughout the levels. There's 3 emblems that you can earn in each level. The first one is completing the entire level in a certain amount of moves or less. The next one is collecting all the Chi in the level. To get the last one all you have to do is finish the entire level by hitting the Fortune Kitty (this is the easiest one to achieve). You don't actually have to collect all the emblems in one try. You can always go back to each level and try to get a certain one. Now, that I've been able to bring you up to speed if you haven't played To-Fu before or haven't played it in a while, I think it's a great time to tell you about all the

 new features and goodies! The first new feature is the Time Trial mode. You're given a certain amount of time to try to collect as much Chi as possible, with the ability to hit extra time bonuses to give yourself more time. I'm just gonna say that this is a great new feature, it definitely adds to the replay value of this game. There's also new game features such as the rotating rebounding platforms and the "Super Ping". The "Super Ping" allows you to break through obstacles. To activate it, all you have to do is hold down where you want it to go for a few extra seconds and it charges into the "Super Ping"! Another new feature is the store, where you can spend real cha-ching (money) if you'd like to. You can purchase new costumes, themes, and you can unlock all the levels in the game. The coolest IAP that I would not mind purchasing at all is the Golden To-Fu. The Golden To-Fu sort of works like the Angry Birds Mighty Eagle. The Mighty Eagle allows you to complete the level, but can only be used once every so hours. The Golden To-Fu works in the same way. It takes you right to the Fortune Kitty and collects all Chi en route. Just like the Mighty Eagle this also has a time limit of once every 8 hours. So if you purchase it, use it wisely! Overall, I found this game to be magnificent. It keeps what made the first one so successful and it builds off of it! The difficulty level is definitely higher than the original, but who wouldn't like a challenge? The first 15 levels will re-introduce you into the game, with the next 85 levels to be challenging and a blast at the same time! If you're a fan of the original then there's no way in the world that you can pass this up. Also, if you're new to the game I'd advise you to go pick up the original first and play a little bit of that before you play this one. My final rating is 4.5 out of 5 stars. Anooki Jump- 0.99 (Bulkypix) "Sort of like Doodle Jump, but with Eskimos!"

Get ready to become Anook and Nooki and bounce from ice cube to ice cube in Anooki Jump [$0.99 (UNIVERSAL)] from Bulkypix. Anook and Nooki are two Eskimos who need your help to bounce as high as possible. The mechanics and the game will sort of remind you of Doodle Jump, but the game is completely different. For one thing, there's no monsters that are trying to make you die. You're probably wondering how you can play as 2 characters in this game. We'll it's actually really cool how you do it. Both of the Eskimos have a health bar. You start the game off with one of the characters and as you bounce higher the characters health that your bouncing with starts to deteriorate. Along the way there's sort of a "pit stop" I guess you could say with the energized Eskimo waiting. When you land on it, your characters swap out and your immediately thrown back into the game with

the well rested Anook or Nooki. If you fail to swap out, your health will go down and once it reaches the end then it's immediately game over. There's a bunch of power-ups in the game that allow you to jump a decent amount of distance such as the star, the ballon, and a few other things that raise you higher up. With power-ups comes obstacles. Some of those obstacles are the bomb that spins you out of control for a little bit which makes jumping hard to do. Another one is the oil spill that gets you stuck in it, which requires you to shake your device to get out of it. There's also a sort of Jack-in-the-Box that you can land in which can either shoot you straight up or shoot you straight down. So, that can be considered a power-up and an obstacle. In the

end this game is pretty addictive. The only thing I'll say is that I'm not a fan of the colored world. It's cool that every time you play the background is a different color, but it would be even better if the backgrounds were actually themed. Also, tilting on the iPad feels clunky, but well most tilting games on the iPad do. Overall, Anooki Jump is a cute game that you could easily spend hours trying to beat your high score by getting higher and higher. My final rating is 4 out of 5 stars. Anooki Jump is a universal app so you don't have to double-dip if you have an iPad and iPhone and would like to play on both. You can grab Anooki Jump for $0.99 from Bulkypix !

Virtual City Playground HD- FREE (G5 Entertainment)

Virtual City Playground HD [FREE] by G5 Entertainment is sort of sequel to their popular Virtual City HD [$6.99]. I've never actually played the original game so I can't tell you how this stacks up to the first one. Well, in Virtual City Playground you get to build your city from the ground up. There's a bunch of missions to complete in the game and a lot of cool buildings that you can build. As you build more things you start to notice more and more people starting to move into your city. You can only do so much at a time because a lot of the game requires you to use your energy to build things. As you earn more coins you can

expand your city. I actually like the integration with Facebook. A lot of these freemium games allow you to post what your doing in the game on Facebook, but this game actually gives you an incentive to post that you just leveled up. If you're new to this game like me then you might have some trouble at first. This might be the first time that you might actually have to... read the instructions. YIKES! After you get a hang of it then you'll have a really good time with it. Even though it's a neat game I do have a few problems with it. I find that loading your city takes longer and longer as you progress farther in the game. The progressing in the game seems a bit slow for impatient people like me. This is also a game that I feel like you actually have to make some in-app purchases to move faster, because a lot of this stuff that you need to build your city seems to be pricey. Well in the end this game is free so you can always make the final verdict for yourself. Overall I found the game to be fun, but too slow for me. My final rating is 3 out of 5 stars. Go download it today. I'm pretty sure that a FREE game won't break your bank account! Well what are you waiting for... get your building on!

Save Yammi HD- 0.99 (Bulkypix)- "Not Cut the Rope!"

There's no doubt in the world that when you first see this game your first thought is "Wait, this looks just like Cut the Rope"! It does sort of resemble Cut the Rope, especially since the main character in this game Yammi bares a strong resemblance to Om Nom. Even though Save Yammi HD [$0.99 (iPad Only)] by Bulkypix looks like it might be a ripoff of Cut the Rope, it's not. It's actually the complete opposite. You could actually say that Save Yammi builds off of the things that made Cut the Rope such a success and they turn it into their own. In this game your goal is to deliver the cookie into Yammi's mouth. In each of the over 100 levels you can collect the stars within each level to earn bonus points to boost your overall score. There is a

rope that you can use in this game, but there's no cutting ropes. Instead you can draw the ropes. You can draw the ropes before you start the level by popping the bubble that holds the cookie. The bad part is that you can only draw the ropes you'll need at the very second you begin the level, because the ropes actually start to vanish as time moves on. So that means by the time you're near Yammi your rope that you drew might have completely disappeared there. One of the coolest things about the ropes is that once you draw it, it's not completely straight. It actually acts like a real rope by sort of drooping down a bit once you set it. You're also only given a limited amount of rope to use. I actually love the idea of being able to draw ropes. It might take you a couple of replays to get the ropes exactly where you want them, but that's what keeps you playing and makes the game absolutely addictive! New elements in the game are gradually added over the 100 levels. There's power-ups that allow you to float and a bunch more of other things. There's also a great deal of obstacles such as electric volts to watch out for or lightning to avoid or risk getting your cookie obliterated into pieces! I also forgot to mention that the gyroscope in the game is extremely helpful and works perfectly. Overall, I found Save Yammi HD to be a fantastic puzzler. There's definitely a lot more thinking in this game

then there is to me in Cut the Rope. The levels in this game were just very well done and though out. This right here is a true puzzle game. My final score is 4/5 stars. The game can be frustrating at times but in the end it'll keep you coming back every time. So if you're looking for a cute challenging game or your a Cut the Rope fan and you want more of a challenge then go check out Save Yammi HD by Bulkypix for $0.99 here. SuperJumpBall: Basketball- 0.99 (Bengger Applications)

SuperJumpBall: Basketball [$0.99] by Bengger Applications is a neat new game where your mission is to guide the basketball out of harms way into the basketball hoop. There's 15 levels to play through with more coming in future updates. Your ball is always moving, so the only control in the game is tap to jump. If you land in the various obstacles such as the spikes or garbage bags then it's game over. To finish the level you have to make the basketball in the hoop. There's no time limit, but in various locations throughout the level there is points hanging around that you can collect to earn a higher score. If points are going to be awarded for each level then Game Center definitely needs to

be added in a future update, because right now I don't really see a point in try to get a bigger score. I'm also not a big fan of the control. I find it a bit hard to get use to and the jumping is laggy at times. I also hate that if you get caught on an object then you have to restart the entire level because there's no way to move the basketball back or forth. That's where a left and right button would be extremely useful. There is extras that you can earn in the game after completing a certain level. So far the only extras are changing the color of your ball to green for example. My favorite part of this game has to be the simple style graphics and the levels in my opinion we're very well done. Overall, the game is pretty challenging so you'll find yourself restarting levels over and over either trying to finish the level or get a higher score. My final rating is 3 out of 5 stars. It definitely needs a little more work and features, but it's a nice little game to fill in empty time during your day. If it weren't for the controls then this game would be much better. I'm pretty sure that everyone's familiar with mosquitoes. They're those pesky little insects that annoy us while we're outside in the summer. All we do is swat at them the entire time. Well, now it's time for revenge. In Dumadu Games latest game Swatter Hit HD Plus [$0.99(iPad Only)] you can finally get your revenge on the mosquitoes. The game has a very simple objective, that is to swat the mosquitoes. The only control you need is your finger. Just tap wherever you see a mosquito to kill it. If you miss killing a mosquito it returns later, but this time it gradually grows bigger which

makes it even more difficult in killing it. You can earn 50 bonus points by killing the mosquito with a coil around it. You're probably thinking that "this game is too easy" well it's not. As in every game there's something that makes the game more challenging. At any moment a spider can drop down. If you hit the spider you automatically get 50 points deducted from your score. If you hit the mosquito on a rocket then it's instantly game over. There's also a danger bar that increases if you don't kill them. If that fills up then it is game over. That's pretty much all there is to this game. I did find ads on the main menu when I booted it up just like the last Dumadu Game that I reviewed on the site. I haven't seen it since though. I also noticed there's a Game Center glitch. I only got a score of about 2,000 but it registered as over a 1,000,000,000 points on Game Center. Overall I found this game extremely fun and it's a very good cheap time waster for your iPad. My final rating is 4 out of 5 stars. 8 Bit HD Plus- 0.99 (Dumadu Games)

Get ready for a new 8 Bit game that requires strategy and quick reflexes. That game is 8 Bit HD Plus [$0.99 (iPad Only)] by Dumadu Games. In this game you control Speedy a Petite Car and try to save it from the unstoppable enemies. As you play through this never ending game your goal is to try to get as much fruit as possible. You can also gain lives by picking up the 1 UP power-up, but you can only hold up to 9 lives (sort of like a cat). During this game you have to dodge the enemies by tapping on the left side of the screen to move left and the right side to move right. There

is 3 different modes to play through. You can play through 2 track, 3 track, or 4 track mode. Each mode gradually gets faster and with more tracks to dodge enemies that definitely makes the game harder. When you first boot up the game the only track unlocked will be the 2 track mode. The other 2 tracks require you to collect a certain amount of fruits to unlock them. It takes 500 fruits to unlock the 3 track and 1500 fruits to unlock the 4 track mode. That's pretty much all there is to this game. It's a simple but yet addictive game that you could spends hours on. I did find an issue when I booted up the game though. There was actually ads on the main menu in a paid game. Which is definitely a no-no in my book. It seems to have been resolved though. I haven't seen any ads since. I also have one suggestion. It would be great if there were other power-ups in the game that allowed you to freeze the enemies or make Speedy indestructible. That would definitely make the game a hit! Overall I found this game to be really simple, but extremely fun at the same time. The 8 Bit graphics are very nice and the gameplay will have you thinking through the entire game. Flick Tennis: College Wars HD- 3.99 (Rolocule)

The App Store has dozens of tennis related games, but I've yet to find that one tennis game that gives me a console feel experience. Well look no further Flick Tennis: College Wars HD [$3.99(iPad Only)] by Rolocule is the best tennis game I believe for the iPad. I'm no tennis buff, but I've played many tennis games on multiple consoles and iOS devices and this has to be the closest you'll get to a tennis console experience on an iOS device to date.  This game utilizes the iPad's big screen magnificently. The game combines tennis and a comic book adventure together. You get to play the role as a tennis prodigy who has to fight for his survival and become the best college tennis player. Throughout the 11 episodes, the story starts to evolve more. Once you begin an episode the comic book story appears. After reading it you're led into a match against an opponent who you must beat to complete the episode. The opponents get more difficult as you progress throughout each episode. Your opponents level type varies between beginner, amateur, and

professional. They also have certain types that they're better at. The different player types range from Defensive Baseliner, Aggressive Baseliner, Volleyer, and All Court Player. By now your probably wondering how the controls work in the game. Well the only control you need is your finger. All you have to do is swipe your finger to guide the ball. Different gestures can change how you hit the ball. For a basic ground stroke you use 1 finger to swipe up. To perform a slice you use 2 fingers and swipe up. Doing a drop hit all you have to do is swipe down with 1 finger. The last way to hit the ball is performing a lob by swiping down with two fingers. You can also move your player by tapping on the area of the screen that you want him to move to. If your not in the mood to play through the episodes then you can always create an exhibition match. You can customize the match type, how many sets, opponent difficulty, etc. At any time you can save any of your matches to come back to and play later. If you have a friend over you can start a head to head multiplayer match. This allows two

people to play the game at the same time (see image to the left). The bad part about it is no online multiplayer. So if you're by yourself you'll have to stick to creating an exhibition match. That's the only downer to the game. Hopefully GameCenter support will come with online multiplayer to go with it. One last thing, there's also a $1.99 in-app purchase to unlock all the episodes in the game at once. It's not required, but if you'd like to unlock all the episodes without beating them one by one you can do so. With all that said this was definitely one of the best tennis experiences that I've ever had on an iDevice. Overall the game has stunning visuals and is definitely worth every penny. Cado HD- 2.99 (ClearCut Games)

Cado HD [$2.99 (iPad Only)] by ClearCut Games is the latest physics-based game to hit the App Store. The first thing you'll notice when playing the game is that the graphics in the game look pretty nifty. They look like they were hand drawn by a sharpie. That's actually really cool if you think about! In this game you guide Cado, a ball shaped character with an eye to it's destination which is the portal. Guiding Cado is actually very simple. All you have to do is use the 2 touch controls in the game to rotate left or right. There's no option for tilt controls which is actually good. This game takes a lot of precise movements which you couldn't do if you were tilting the device. As you progress through the 40 levels (20 more to come in a future update) you

start to notice sharper turns and spikes that make you restart if you run into them. That's why precision is key in completing the levels. Throughout each level you can collect the star that's hanging around. It's not required to collect it to move on, but it does give you a reason to come back to the game and try to get it. In the later levels there's a key that you must collect. The portal is usually inaccessible because it's locked until you retrieve the key. Thankfully this game does not have a time limit because I would always lose. You really need to take your time and be patient especially later in the levels. I really like the part in the main menu where it gives you your Cado game playing stats. It will tell you things such as how many times you've died, rotated to the right, rotated to the left, total wins, and how to get rich quick. Well not the last part, I wish though! I actually got the privilege to test Cado while it was in beta. I sucked at it! I only collected about 20 of the 40 stars in the levels. That's probably do to the fact that I tested it on an iPod Touch. Playing it on the iPad was a completely different story. I'm actually great at it on the iPad! I completed the entire game with the star for each level in just under

an hour. The game definitely needs that update with the 20 levels pronto! Also, Game Center support really needs to be included to make the game feel complete. Overall the levels were very well designed and the game provides a fun experience that I couldn't put down until I completed everything there was to complete. My final rating is 4 out of 5 stars. Vermes On Mars- 0.99 (Aztlan Games)

Before I begin the review I must say that there's no way you could miss this game on the App Store if you were roaming based on the icon. Just look at that icon! It's EPIC! Okay enough with my love of the icon, time to get into what Vermes On Mars [$0.99 (Universal)] by Aztlan Games is all about. Vermes On Mars is a sci-fi based shooter game with the setting being the "Red Planet" or Mars for short. In this game you guide 4 vehicles around in search of the assorted worms hiding in the soil. The worms pop up out of the soil whenever you get close to them. The mission is to try to defeat all the worms in a level. The controls in this game are very simple. You can tap on the left or right side of the screen to switch from moving and

shooting. Moving your vehicles is extremely simple. All you have to do is swipe on the area of the screen that you want your vehicles to move to. Then they will line up along the area that you swiped on. When it's time to shoot, just tap on either the left side or the right side of the screen (your choice) to switch over to the shooting mode. Just swipe on the part of the screen where the worms are at just like you would do if you were trying to move. Your vehicles will turn their attention to shooting in that spot that you directed them to. In the shooting mode you can't move your vehicles so just tap on either side of the screen again to switch into a different mode. Each level has a given time limit that requires you to find all of the worms before you run out of time making it GAME OVER! As I mentioned before, there's an assortment of worms that have their own special attributes. Every worm has their own way of destroying your vehicles. Some happen to be deadlier than others. Sometimes a level gets hectic so you can use some of the power-ups that you've earned located at the bottom of the screen. There's a power-up to heal your bots, to destroy all the worms in sight coming after you, and even more. At the end of each level you gain money that you can use in the workshop to upgrade your current bots weapons, health, and magnetic field. You can also purchase

new bots that are much stronger than your previous ones. There's currently over 30 levels to play through so you'll have enough to upgrade your bots. The only bad thing is that you can't replay levels that you've already beaten. Other than that this game is a lot of fun to me. Overall Vermes On Mars is an entertaining sci-fi shooter with nicely done visuals and a great user interface. My final rating is 4.5 out of 5 stars. HexRoto HD- 0.99 (Hill Stone Animation Studios)

What is HexRoto you may ask? Well, HexRoto HD ($0.99- iPAD ONLY) by Hill Stone Animation Studios is a puzzle game that'll have you thinking every single move you make. In the game there's colored balls in each level. Your objective is to get the certain colored ball in the appropriate highlighted position. Trying to move the balls correctly takes strategy. To move the ball you want all you have to do is tap on a certain ball to rotate all the other balls clockwise. A little confusing, eh? Trust me it'll make a lot more sense when you start playing the game! As you move on

through the 45 levels, the difficulty gradually increases over time. More balls are required to be rotated which takes a lot more thinking then rotating 2 or 3 balls. To achieve 3 stars on a level you must rotate everything in the least amount of moves as possible. The more moves you make, the less amount of stars you'll gain. This in turn makes you want to come back to the game to test your brains capability and acquire more stars. With that all said, HexRoto HD is a great little puzzle game to exercise the ol' brain, but it's missing a few things to me. Some mind stimulating music in the background while playing would be great. When I hear silence in a puzzle game it makes me over think. That's just me. Also, GameCenter support would be a nice little update. The biggest thing I feel  it's missing is a time challenge mode. I would love to race against the clock to get all the balls where they need

to be. Overall the game is a nice little puzzler, but to me I feel it needs a little more to be just perfect. My final rating is 3.5 out 5. Get ready for a new puzzle game that'll have you playing it at any spare moment that you come across in your daily life. Hungribles [$1.99 (UNIVERSAL)] by Futuremark Games Studio is a brand new puzzle game that'll keep your mind thinking while killing you with cuteness at the same exact time. So what are Hungribles exactly? Hungribles are these cute little creatures that love to eat! The objective of this game is to feed the Hungribles to make them nice and cheerful. To feed them you use a mushroom (yes mushroom) slingshot to shoot their food orbs at them. Each level gives you a certain amount of orbs that you can use. Before you shoot you can see a rainbow guideline showing you where your shot will end up. There's 7 different types of

Hungribles throughout the 40 + levels (with more levels to come) to feed. Each one of them has their own individual appetite. This provides a little challenge in feeding them. Some Hungribles such as "Chops" loves to eat. Chops will take in any orb you shoot at him without any problems at all. Meanwhile, "Bonker" requires multiple orbs to be satisfied. What really keeps you hooked on this game for hours is trying to earn 3 stars on the levels. You can easily finish a level by just feeding the Hungribles, but what earns you the most points is feeding the Hungribles AND earning the score bonuses throughout the levels. This can be achieved by bouncing orbs off walls, hitting the little bucket of gold, and curving your shots around other Hungribles. I haven't come across any major problems in the game except a crash after finishing

a level which hasn't happened to me since. All I feel that this game is missing is Game Center support and that's it. Overall Hungribles is a challenging puzzle game with cute visuals and characters that'll have instantly hooked. This is definitely a game that I could see contending with Angry Birds for the #1 spot on the App Store. My final rating is 4.5 out of 5 stars. DMBX- Mountain Biking -1.99 (randerline gmbh)

I don't know much about biking, but I've played multiple bike games on the App Store. It's hard to find that one biking game that gives you the ability to perform multiple tricks with simple controls and provides an overall great user experience. I believe that DMBX- Mountain Biking [$1.99(UNIVERSAL)] by randerline gmbh is that one game! I've never been able to find that one biking game that feels complete to me until this one popped up in the App Store. In this game you'll find 2 different modes, Quickplay and Career. In Quickplay your goal is to beat the given time limit to reach the finish line. Career Mode contains 10 different levels to play through. Each level has 3 different challenges to complete. The first challenge is Time. In the

time challenge your goal is to beat the given time limit to reach the finish line, just like the Quickplay mode. The second challenge is to collect the coins in the level. Collecting more and more coins allows you to acquire faster bikes and unlock brand new characters that have their own individual tricks and special abilities. The last challenge is the scoring. The more tricks performed here equals a bigger score. If you haven't played a Randerline game before then the controls might take a couple go-arounds to get use to. Your best bet is to NOT skip the tutorial in the beginning to learn all the basics in the game. Once you get the controls down the game will be a complete breeze. You'll have the time of your life soaring in the air doing tricks. I've only come across one

problem so far in the game. When I crashed the gameplay area turned completely black while the time clock still ran. All I had to do was restart the level. So far it hasn't happened to me again *knocks on wood*. I also feel that the game is missing two things that I would love to see implemented. A free play mode where you could freely ride and do tricks would be great and online multiplayer would be a beautiful addition. Overall this is a very well done game with captivating 3D environments and a great appeal to people of all ages. My final rating is 4 out of 5 stars. DMBX- Mountain Biking for $1.99 is a great price for a game with Universal support.

Tap-Tap Rockets- 0.99 (Pixilabs)

Get ready to destroy a load of asteroids to protect your planets in Tap-Tap Rockets [$0.99-UNIVERSAL] by Pixilabs. In this game you have rockets that gravitate around a planet. Your main objective is to use the rockets to destroying the incoming asteroids to defend the well-being of your planets. You can only shoot one rocket at a time. The rocket that you will shoot will be highlighted. The shooting in this game is extremely easy. All you have to do is tap on the button on the left side of the screen to shoot. Aiming at the asteroids takes a little getting use to though. You have to time your shot just right to hit the asteroids or you'll miss it completely. Messing up your shot can really do damage to the planet your trying to protect. Each

planet has a certain amount of rings, the bigger the planet the more amount of rings it has. The rings are your shields just in case an asteroid gets past you. Once all your shields for that planet have been destroyed then that planet is gone. With the addition to asteroids, there are UFOs that float around that once hit it can give you power-ups that can really help you out in a level! As you progress through the 27 levels in the game you face new challenges. Such as your planets start to float around making aiming even more difficult and the rate that the asteroids come start to gradually increase faster. Even though this game is extremely fantastic the way it is I feel that it's missing a few things. Sometimes I wish instead of shooting the already pre-selected rocket, it would be great to switch to a different rocket to shoot the asteroid

just in time instead of waiting for the highlighted rocket to slowly make its way around when there's already a rocket near by. By the time the rocket gets around, the asteroid would have already destroyed a shield. Another thing that it's missing is some more modes. All the game right now is pretty much survivor mode levels. Other than that, this is a fun little challenging game that'll have you playing it constantly trying to beat your previous high scores. Overall my final rating is 3.5 out of 5 stars. Even though it's missing a few things to me, it's a pretty good game with universal support for a great price tag of only $0.99!
